Using traditional French winemaking methods, our wines are crafted using méthode traditionelle & are aged on lees for several years, enhancing their character and complexity while retaining lively, fresh fruit flavours.
Aromas of rich cherry and plum, pepper and spice from the Shiraz fruit.
Extended time on lees during secondary fermentation contribute complex aromas of pepper and spice. Refined structure built around unobtrusive fine tannins yields a long, clean finish with fruit flavours lingering to the end.

"Deep brick-red to ruby colour, and a mellow, complex raisin, 'roasting pan' and dried mushroom bouquet. A trace of 'squashed ants'. It seems to have substantial age. The palate is full and generous with a good dab of sweetness, which then turns pleasingly dry on the finish thanks to well-judged tannins. There's a lot of flavour here and generous aged character for the modest price." Huon Hooke
